About the Advisor:

Sandra Warne is an International Trade Adviser for Gloucestershire.  Prior to this, she was the Vice Consul at the British Consulate in Cape Town, South Africa.  Here her worked involved being head of the UKTI Cape Town team and actively marketing the UK strengths to South African industry.  She was also responsible for identifying business opportunities, conducting customised market research for UK companies and building a network of decision making contacts and a database of potential Inward Investment contacts.

As Vice Consul she was also responsible for Deputising for the Consul General and provide general out of office Consulate duties such as duty officer and Emergency Planning for British Nationals.  Sandra has also spent time working for UKTI at the British High Commission in Singapore and Malaysia.  Before this Sandra went on secondment, working as a Commercial Manager for a Stroud based company where she had specific responsibly of market screening for new products, and researching and identifying new buyers in the home market and organising product launch events.

Now as an ITA she works closely with her Gloucestershire companies to develop and help implement their export strategy and advising on the variety of services available to help deliver their business objectives.
