Joseph is a dedicated and versatile professional with a robust background in both education and technology. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering (BEng), which laid a solid foundation in technical and analytical skills. Driven by a passion for teaching and technology, he pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on teaching Computer Science, supported by a prestigious BCS Scholarship. This achievement also led to his Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), enabling him to inspire and educate the next generation of tech enthusiasts. Currently, he is advancing his expertise through a PhD in Computing, where he is delving into cutting-edge research and contributing to the field of computational intelligence for military applications. Joseph’s professional career is marked by a diverse range of roles. Beginning in the Royal Navy, Joseph developed a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and teamwork. Transitioning to education, Joseph served as a Teacher of Computer Science and Design and Technology, where he had the opportunity to shape young minds and foster a love for technology and innovation. In addition to his teaching roles, he has also served as an Associate Lecturer in Computational Intelligence, where he has been able to share knowledge and research with university students, guiding them through complex concepts and practical applications. His current role as the Chief Technology and Finance Officer of the South West Cyber Resilience Centre leverages his technical expertise and leadership skills to enhance cybersecurity measures and financial strategies within the organization. Joseph is passionate about staying at the forefront of technological advancements and continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow; striving to make a positive impact in both fields, fostering innovation and resilience in the digital age.
