PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is an industry standard used extensively by the UK Government and is widely recognised and used in the Private sector, both in the UK and internationally. It is a structured project management method based on experience drawn from thousands of projects and from the contributions of countless project sponsors, Project Managers, project teams, academics, trainers and consultants.

What skills will I develop?

PRINCE2® is a known industry standard methodology for Project Management so you’ll achieve a recognised qualification.

By the end of the course you will be able to:
Describe the business justification
Define an organisation structure for the project management team
Adopt a product-based planning approach
Divide the project into manageable and controllable stages

How long is the course?

This course can either be taken as a stand-alone 3 day ‘Foundation’ course – introducing the basic theory and requirements of the PRINCE2® approach, or can be taken as a full 5 day course – extending the Foundation course to cover additional practice elements with a final ‘Practitioner’ exam. Those with a current PRINCE2® Foundation qualification can also take the stand-alone 2 day Practitioner course.

This course requires pre-course study – a minimum of 16 hours, plus some self-study in the evenings of the course itself.
