Experience

After graduating from Harper Adams Agricultural University in 1982, Mark spent the first few years of his career project managing agricultural development initiatives in Africa and Europe. He moved to South Africa in 1989 where he became a senior business analyst helping to grow an international business consultancy specialising in operations and change management.

Mark is an experienced transformation consultant with extensive global experience across numerous industries facilitating business improvement and growth strategies. He has specific expertise in management systems, business planning and strategy, marketing and supply chain management. His experience extends across various business stages and ownership types from start-ups and family businesses to SMEs, and multinational organisations.

He completed an MBA with Oxford Brookes in 2002, and set up Bearing 21 Ltd, his own management consultancy as well as working as a freelance consultant with several recognised international practices.

Mark and his family returned to the UK at the start of the Covid pandemic and moved to the Cotswolds 2 years ago living in a small rural hamlet between Stroud and Cirencester.

He has recently been accepted onto the Governments business mentorship program supported by the Association of Business Mentors.
