The annual Growing Gloucestershire Conference will take place at Cheltenham's picturesque Pump Rooms on Tuesday 15th October. A firm fixture in the county's business calendar, the conference is set to attract more than 200 business professionals to a day crammed with content.
This year, the conference will focus on the themes of sustainability, connectivity and technology, with four industry-leading keynotes sharing their expertise on these critical topics.
Peter Cheese, the chief executive officer of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development will kick the conference off, exploring how the key principles of good work will be the cornerstones of sustainable and responsible businesses for the future.
Sophie Bennett, from the Cranfield School of Management, will then lead attendees through a transformation session on the 5 Flames of Motivation, how to use them to fire up your teams, connect with your customers and become a more impactful business leader.
Keynotes will also be delivered by Tarra Simmons, CSR manager for Midcounties Cooperative and Rick Sturge from the Bloodhound Land Speed Record Project.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the conference themes further in a range of engaging seminar sessions including:
- Pricing your products to build sustainable revenue in your business
- The world needs your story
- The three myths of innovation and how you can take advantage of now
Jonathan Nicholls, chair of the Growing Gloucestershire Conference, said:
The Conference has been running since 2003 and aims to get the wider business community under one roof on one day every year to share their skills and experience.
We have keynote speakers booked from a wide spectrum of the business sector, each of which will give a fascinating insight into our key themes of sustainability, connectivity and technology.
There are also a number of other guest speakers and breakout sessions scheduled that are designed around those key themes.
The Growth Hub is proud to be joining the Growing Gloucestershire Conference as an Exhibitor, and team members will be on hand to discuss the free business support available through The Growth Hub, including the new Hub Mentor programme.
