Wheatway Solutions Ltd is a customer driven solutions provider in the screening bucket industry, working across multiple industries including construction, demolition, agricultural, landscaping, recycling and more and delivering through multiple brands.

Starting from humble beginnings, Director Colin Smith founded Wheatway Solutions Ltd 13 years ago and it is now the parent company to four innovative brands with an extensive worldwide dealer base.

The company wanted to get ahead with a Net Zero strategy as it was becoming important to their customer base, and it afforded the opportunity of becoming a market leader in the sector but was challenged by the process of constructing a carbon audit and carbon footprint.  

After an initial workshop at the Growth Hub, the business started to engage with the Net Zero team, gaining learning and guidance over a series of remote sessions, on how to audit the emissions created by the business, and to calculate their first carbon footprint.

The business is now on the way to understanding not only the carbon intensity of their products but are forming a strategy to reduce their carbon output and to market these new values in their service offering.
