Our Banking and Finance Business Group was established to collaborate with the county’s banks and financial organisations to offer independent advice to Gloucestershire businesses.
Purpose
Work with the full spectrum of banks and financial organisations within the county to offer holistic support and impartial advice to businesses.
To offer business-specific financial guidance to Growth Hub clients via banking and finance ’Clinics.’
Support the business consultation on the Local Growth Plan, and inputting the business voice into discussions on Local Government Reorganisation and Devolution.’
Terms of Reference
Provide a financial advisory role to Growth Hub and Start and Grow clients to advise on the best course of actions financially relevant to their business journeys.
Develop the ’Access2Finance networking model: Alternative Options to Funding’ events, ensuring that banks and businesses are aware of the full spectrum of funding opportunities available on offer.
Support partner events by offering impartial financial guidance to all sizes of business on specific topics such as alternative loan and investment options and green finance.
Continue to support Growth Hub clients by offering banking & finance ’clinics’: offering impartial advice on business plans, models, and routes to funding, free of charge.
