Important Notice: This is a drop-in session and no booking is required. All Gloucestershire SME employers are welcome - and prior attendance at the online workshop is not mandatory.
Drop-in session start time - 10:00pm and end time - 2:00pm
Following the online Gloucestershire SME Apprenticeship Workshop held on 5 November 2026, these in-person drop-in sessions provide an opportunity for Gloucestershire employers to continue the conversation and access tailored advice on employing apprentices.
Whether you attended the original workshop or are exploring apprenticeships for the first time, this informal session offers the chance to speak directly with apprenticeship specialists, ask questions specific to your business, and receive practical guidance on recruitment, funding, training providers, levy transfers, and the support available throughout the apprenticeship journey.
Join us at your local Growth Hub to gain clarity, confidence and personalised support to help you make informed decisions about apprenticeships and workforce development.

Rob Pickup
The Gloucestershire Careers Hub works strategically with schools and colleges to link business with education, providing first-class careers education and opportunities for young people. We currently support 61 local schools and colleges, who work together with employers, universities, training providers and careers professionals to improve careers education for young people across the county. These establishments are supported by our Enterprise Coordinators, who sit at the heart of the Hub to help schools and colleges engage with business and work. We are also proud to work with volunteer Enterprise Advisers – local business professionals who are successfully matched to a school or college to raise the aspirations of young people throughout Gloucestershire, implement the Gatsby Benchmarks, and engage with Senior Leadership Teams within educational facilities. They use their strategic skills to put opportunities with local employers at the heart of a young person’s education.
