Event description
'Be your own boss' is a one day workshop designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to launch and grow a successful business. You'll learn how to create a comprehensive business plan, manage finances, and conduct market research. Gain insights into identifying competitors and understanding your target customers, key factors for standing out in the market.
This workshop aims to provide the confidence, skills, and strategies required to help you decide if starting and running a business is right for you. By the end, you’ll leave with a business plan template along with a marketing and sales action plan ready for implementation to start your new venture.
Please note, this workshop will be held in person at The Growth Hub Cheltenham.
What will I learn?
- How to get started with your business idea and vision
- Business planning using a business plan template and SWOT analysis
- Financial management and day-to-day running of your business
- Market research and planning, identifying competitors and your target customers
- Develop a marketing and sales action plan.

Individuals living in Gloucestershire who are thinking of starting and running their own business or have started up within the last 6 months.
